150 years of strength
At The Church our community and spirit of place are an important part of us.
Every aspect of dining at The Church is inspired and shaped by the people, the landscape and the climate here in Donegal.
As we prepare to enter the next phase of this journey, we wanted to take some time to say thank you to all those unsung heroes that have served our community over the past few months.
Your babysitter, the factory worker, the teenager in your local shop - all those people who have proudly and quietly continued to support others throughout.
Our Chestnut lined walk has stood for 150 years - each tree providing generations of wildlife and people with their strength and protection.
What better way to honour those vital pillars of stability and familiarity that have helped us so much lately than to add their name to the next generation of our Chestnut honour guard when we begin our restorative planting of our Chestnut Walk this winter.
How to Enter:
1) Nominate your Donegal lockdown hero.
2) Tell us why they are your lockdown hero.
It is that simple!
The nominated winners will receive a three course dinner for two at The Church Restaurant, Bar and Café and a new Chestnut tree planted in their honour along our Chestnut Walk this winter.
