Celebrating Success: A Golden Fork for Our Green Partner

Here at The Church, we are incredibly fortunate to be nestled in the heart of Donegal, a place rich with not just stunning landscapes, but also a network of passionate local producers who share our commitment to quality. We believe that the best things in life are often those closest to home - and it doesn't get much closer than sharing in the success of a fellow family business.

Today, we're raising a glass to one such partner, our friends at Green Pastures. Based just up the road in Convoy and founded and run by the Molloy family, they are the hands behind the incredible dairy products that grace our menus here at The Church and across the Rockhill House Estate.

A sign of quality

We are absolutely bursting with pride to announce that Green Pastures has swept up a stunning 16 awards at the 2025 Great Taste Awards! This is no small feat, as the competition saw 14,340 entries from 110 countries across the globe.

Green Pastures was one of only five companies in the Republic of Ireland to secure the highest honour—the coveted three-star award—for more than one product. And what a list it is! Their Greek Yoghurt, 28% Fat Soft Cheese, Crème Fraiche 30%, 18% Sour Cream, and 25% Sour Cream all received this incredible accolade, a true testament to their dedication to craftsmanship and the quality of produce in Donegal and the North West of Ireland.

But the story doesn't end there. The three-star awards are a gateway to the prestigious Golden Fork trophies, and we are absolutely delighted to share that Green Pastures has taken home the highly sought-after Golden Fork for the Ireland region!
